Mom Crew
I built the website for my own business, Mom Crew, entirely from scratch. Squarespace is a great tool for people like me who aren’t designers, but it takes some time and energy to figure out and I’ve become very proficient by now.
After building the initial website, I’ve added functionality like e-commerce tools and subscriptions, and I’ve taught myself how to embed simple coding functionality like making links jump to a different part of the page.
I also created my main logo, my browser icon, and all of my own graphics in Canva, and wrote all of the copy and developed content from scratch.
Rena MG Fertility
Rena hired me to build a website for her new private practice around fertility therapy. I helped her think through the look & feel and put together an outline for the content she needed.
She had a tight budget and I was able to complete her website in just a few hours. I also created a logo and browser icon for her in Canva and put together a brand kit so she knows which font and colors to use if she wants to create anything else for her business.
We may add more content in the future, but in less than a week from conception to completion, she has a fully functional professional website to be able to launch her private practice.
Mind to Soul Coaching
Jill hired me to build a website for her new life coaching practice. She wanted to get a website up quickly that she could send to her first paying clients, and I was able to design it in just a few hours – including outlining the site layout, writing the copy from bullets she provided, and selecting images that gave the website a fresh and modern feel.
I also designed her logo and browser icon in Canva, which she loves and was amazed by, because she was getting quotes of $500 just for the logo alone.
As Jill builds her practice, we may add more functionality to the site, such as a scheduler tool.
Blue Bird Social Skills
Christy, the founder and owner of Blue Bird Social Skills, wanted to revamp her website and add more content as she shifted the focus of her work slightly.
I built an entirely new website for her in Squarespace that looked much more modern, was easier to navigate, and contained all of the information she wanted – including new services, treatment methods, and certifications that would help her site appear in more web searches.
After we completed the initial work, Christy wanted to add a couple more pages on new services she would be offering, and it was easy to incorporate these into her existing website architecture.
Sharon Berg, Ph.D.
Dr. Berg hired me to build her a simple website for her therapy practice. She had a look and feel in mind that we were able to achieve through layout and imagery, and she was very happy with the result.
In addition to providing information about her practice and her services, she wanted to include resources for patients, and we worked together on the best way to showcase those so that they were easy to find and navigate.
Whisper
The Marketing team at Whisper hired me to help with their email program. They wanted to optimize existing emails and develop new contact flows incorporating email, text and phone calls to reach prospective customers, keep in touch with undecided prospects, and onboard new customers. They also wanted to start sending a quarterly newsletter to both customers and hearing care professionals to stay up-to-date with Whisper news and developments.
The team reported improved open rates and click rates with the new emails and subject lines I wrote. I’m also helping them to experiment with new templates to grab the attention of their customers and optimize the email content.
Lindsay Rothman Real Estate
Lindsay is a real estate agent with Compass in Westchester, NY who was looking to drive more leads for sales. She wanted a website that not only showcased who she was and the listings that were available, but also provided content and information for other families looking to making the move from Manhattan to the NYC suburbs.
I am in the process of building her a website that can showcase listings, content she’s created, and also be expanded to include partners and referrals for other areas. In addition, I created a Facebook group for her to drive lead generation and engagement among her target audience, which has already resulted in multiple new clients.
